After two decades of inspiring countless electronica acts and curating memorable electronic anthems, Maxim – member of English Electronic Group The Prodigy, begins an exciting new project with the name “We Are Noize“. Aimed at producing cutting-edge and forward thinking music, the group see the release of their debut single ‘Dollar Flick‘ through their own label also named We Are Noize. Their sound style is difficult to pin down as they believe in molding music that is experimental in nature and that free from popular and commercial trends.
The track ‘Dollar Flick’ begins with a Trap infused drumline stuttering and swerving past the break with additional vocal work, as an acidic synth groove ushers in and changes the complexion of the track significantly. A delayed percussion layer alongwith the dark atmospherics fills the sonic terrain as vocal stabs continue to accentuate the ‘twerk’ factor on the track! A new side project by Maxim, who plays a big part in the creative direction of the group, is a group we vouch is something to look forward to in the near future!
