Making their return after a long spell away, 16 Bit Lolitas come back to Anjunadeep in a fashionable manner, with a brand new EP titled “Beat Organ“. Tying together some of the best basslines we’ve heard in a while, this progressive duo have created a dual track EP, which is melodic to say the least.
The title track, “Beat Organ“, is a shimmering odyssey of old school progressive house, perfectly sealed with uplifting piano chords and a driving bassline. With the summer fast approaching, this one is made for lounging around and sipping your mojitos, whilst kicking your feet back to this beautiful piece of music.
The second track is titled “From Far Away“, which proves that this production duo still have the capability to slowly and steadily grasp your imagination, painting a pretty picture of a captivating and elegantly designed tune. These 4 minute previews hardly do justice to the original 9 minute odd length of the track, and we can say for certain that, this shall be one EP that Anjunadeep shall be receiving accolades for.
“Friendly Neighbour“, the final track on the EP resonates brilliance, with a dash of 80’s retro-like synths mastering the transition into smooth, progressive house, with hauntingly beautiful echoed vocals that wash over you like waves of freshness.
A welcomed return from one of my favourite progressive duos, stay tuned for the EP release on May 5th. Till then, indulge yourself into some of the finest selections 16 Bit Lolitas have to offer below.
