There is something instantly inspiring about an Above & Beyond musical piece. With a history of creating sonic masterpieces for the better part of a decade, the trio added another gratifying addition to their stunning portfolio through ‘Hello‘. Premiered at their historic performance at Alexandria Palace in London for their ABGT50 celebrations, the jubilant number is intended to be a peak hour number, complete with acidic synths and ethereal buildups. Now, Above & Beyond have partnered with Thump and Bud Platinum to release a fresh video which stays in the same vein as their productions – euphoric and inspiring.
Telling the tale of three New Yorkers in the Big Apple, the video begins with the backdrop of the acidic synths, drum and kick elements. We are introduced to the three main characters; a ballerina, a hairdresser and a BMX stunt enthusiast. As the track builds through its euphoric progressions, we take a look at the trials and tribulations each characters face. Beyond the drop, however, as the soundscape shifts drastically, there arrives a moment of emancipation for the characters as they are released from the clutches to embrace their artistic expressions.
