The current #1 DJs in the world, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have served to be an integral part of the dance music industry for almost a decade. The Belgium-based duo who rightfully boast of themselves as one of the biggest acts to grace the commercial space have helped dance music reach higher grounds and usher in an era that has seen and continues to find electronic music at its prime.
While their domination continues to spread across Europe, North America and everywhere in between, DVLM have found themselves an unlikely home in the Indian sub-continent. A long-time ambassador of Bollywood, Salman Khan has been one of the earliest supporters of the duo who has been an avid fan ever since they crossed paths at Royalty, Mumbai back in 2013. Being friends ever since, Dimitri Vegas even nominated Salman Khan for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge back in 2014.
While he has earlier went on record to express his love for their single “Wakanda”, their long withstanding relationship has nurtured to witness Salman show his constant support for the Thivaios brothers in the DJ Mag Top 100 Poll.

With DVLM’s India connect continues to strengthen with each passing year, the duo have played in India multiple times with SUNBURN Festival, having headlined the annual festival two consecutive times, in 2014 and 2015 as well as playing at Sunburn Mumbai and Sunburn Bengaluru back in 2013.
With Salman Khan icing their supreme list of supporters, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, furthermore went on to be likened by other acts like Sonakshi Sinha and Jacqueline Fernandez from the star-studded Bollywood industry. While heavy support surely acted as a major catalyst towards their DJ Mag Top 100 poll campaign, it consequently crowned them as #1 acts in 2015! As DVLM went on to become the first duo in the history of dance music to grab pole position, the duo continues to spread their “Smash The House” brand to every corner of the world.

Fast forward to 2016, DVLM’s quest to repeat the success of last year seems to be on the right trajectory having already found support yet again from their friend, Salman Khan. But packing in a few surprises, Indian cricketer and a celebrity figure in his own right, Virat Kohli stepped forward to show his support for the duo!
