Since the summer of 2013, Eelke Kleijn‘s ‘Ein Tag Am Strand’ had been one of those magical compositions that circulated around clubs and dancefloors around the world igniting warm and effervescent halos everywhere it was unleashed. Its comforting melodies and delightful riffs merge modern music composition with an everlasting uplifting essence that ‘a day at the beach‘ can make happen. And with its recent release in the US and South America courtesy Ultra Music, Eelke recently uploaded a tutorial video that explains the making of his worldwide smash hit.

Explaining how he intended to compose the track as deep-end techno track initially, he accidentally composed a melody that now defines ‘Ein Tag Am Strand‘! Adding more effects to add moods and variants to the sound, he explained how he began to add various other sounds that tied up the melody to the rest of the track. We see Eelke’s intent around every turn as drums and percussion sit firmly beneath the grooving bass line, meshing together with the top end to create the intricate compositions and bring the track into one fluid motion.
