US powerhouse dance label Ultra Music presents Eelke Kleijn’s instant summer hit, ‘Ein Tag Am Strand’, set for release on Tuesday 4th March! Held as arguably one of the catchiest dance records of 2013 across most of the globe, it’s about time that ‘Ein Tag Am Strand’ or ‘a day at the beach’ blessed the United States with its sun-drenched tones! With much circulation early last year in clubs, in the blogosphere and on the radio – including tastemaker Pete Tong’s celebrated Radio 1 show in the UK – this smash record caught the attention of some of the best DJs around like Tiësto, Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Steve Aoki and Fatboy Slim.
Through scoring movie trailers, executing stunning live shows and constructing incredible productions, Eelke Kleijn blends the fine line between electronic producer and the true modern day composer. Having conjured up the melody for ‘Ein Tag’ in late 2011, he then developed and refined the production to make sure that every intricacy in his creation was perfect. Drums and percussion sit firmly beneath the grooving bass line, meshing together with the top end to create the intricate melody and bring the track into one fluid motion. As the deeper end of the dance music spectrum becomes increasingly welcomed and explored in the States, this record will surely help set a benchmark.
