Ever since the dreamy, atmospheric and almost ethereal Coldplay track Midnight was dropped, the interwebs have been thrown into a tizzy. The original, produced by Jon Hopkins, is a perfect chilled electronic track containing vocoder processed vocals of Chris Martin along with beautiful piano riffs and quality production work. Quite unlike what we’re used to from the british band.

This, naturally, sparked a plethora of remixes, with a ton of up and coming artists lending their touches to the spectacular original. The most notable of these, was the one by Swedish legend, Marcus Schossow (listen to that here).

Off late though, one of Dance Music’s most vocal and notorious bad boy’s Maor Levi, teased fans with hints of a new remix, along with the impressive talents of fellow American producers, Norin & Rad and Kevin Wild.

Maor Levi tweeted this earlier today:

This was Maor Levi’s instagram post.

This was followed by another, rather explicit video, with the group of them upto their shenanigans.

6 hours ago, the teaser was uploaded to Maor Levi’s soundcloud page,  on the description of which, Maor mentioned“TO HEAR THE FULL THING, SHOW UR FACE AT ONE OF OUR UPCOMING SHOWS!”.

The teaser starts off with the vocals of the originals, and gradually includes the addition of some subtle beatwork. The teaser cuts off just after the build-up, leaving fans thirsting insatiably for more.

Could this be a possible remix or another one of Maor Levi’s famous pranks? We can’t know for sure yet, but you can check the preview out below and stay tuned to thebanginbeats.com for more info!
