So here’s one controversy that has garnered plenty of attention. About a fortnight ago, soon-to-be-visiting-India Joel Zimmerman aka Deadmau5 accused Hardstyle artist Wildstylez of “ripping off” the melody from his vastly popular ‘Some chords on Wildstylez’s new production ‘Straightforward’. Venting off his frustration through Twitter, Joel received heavy critcism from the artist in question as well as fans and supporters of Hardstyle. Initially, quizzing and replying to them in a-la-Deadmau5-mode, he then in his truly creative passion, trolled Wildstylez and fans of Hardstyle with a sardonic ode titled ‘Dat kick doe.

However, it seems the video sharing website YouTube has atleast responded to the criticism laid by Deadmau5, as they took down the release video for Wildstylez‘s ‘Straightforward‘ from their website for now. Copyright claims are a frequent issue that Social media sharing platforms deal with, and it seems this chapter in the controversy leads to Joel coming out on top. However, something tells us that this may not be the end just yet. Stay tuned for more!
