After taking home both “Album” and “Record of the Year” at the recent concluded 56th Annual GrammysGuy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter better known as their stage moniker Daft Punk were awarded the “Best International Group” at the 2014 BRIT Awards. The French Electronic music pioneers have been notching up win after win after their critically acclaimed ‘Random Access Memories‘ album last year revived and revolutionized studio production techniques.

With the album now certified platinum, the duo’s win is an impressive one, as they were nominated alongside some bright talents such as Arcade FireHaimKings of Leon and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. The duo were absent from the event and the legendary Nile Rogers, who had been collaborating on the mighty “Get Lucky“, was present to receive the award on their behalf. However, the Awards show had another highlight as part of its red carpet entry. Irish telephone gambling company, Paddy Power, sent two employees dressed up as the Robots on the Red Carpet as a strategically endorsed plan. Things got a bit weird, as the duo proceeded to rip off their pants to reveal bright green underwear with the company name titled on them! It was confusing for the photographers who weren’t aware of the prank leaving them stunned and quite frankly, speechless! Check it out below!
