Armin Van Buuren is busy on the road with his gargantuan Armin Only: Intense tour.  The tour, a once in a lifetime feature, is a 6 hour show with Armin’s Music, spectacular theatrics and unrealistic visuals, making at truly a feast for the senses.

We at the Bangin Beats were lucky enough to catch the Mumbai leg of this tour (Read more about that here). Midway through his set, he completely switched up the energy with an unreleased production. The visuals behind him just flashed the words “Ping Pong” and the beat picked up to an intense, driving 138-140 hard trance production. Before long, at the break there were 4 ping pong balls on screen that bounced corresponding to variating synth pluck sounds. This picks up in intensity to give a sort of a rhythmic progression and ultimately, culminates back to the same hard trance beatwork, only this time, an acid melody is thrown into the arrangement, making that much more explosive.

The visuals that accompanied the drop as well as the massive release of yellow smiley-faced baloons from the ceiling all added to the experience of sending rushes of adrenaline through our systems, that was originally sparked by the power-packed production. It was that moment, where each and every audience member danced with such furious energy, it was as if the crowd had gone insane.
