A man whose legs were shattered by falling stage lights during Miami’s iconic Ultra Music Festival last year is now suing the music festival. Joey Green, an equipment technician, was installing the festival’s iconic LED lights on the main stage when one of the giant panels fell on him and several others. Tragically, Green’s legs were crushed in the March 14, 2013 accident. Now a year later, and a little over a month earlier for the 2014 edition, Green is suing a list of people including the Ultra Music Festival Corporation along with the revered Swedish House Mafia. Infact, Green is suing Angello, Ingrosso and Axwell individually besides suing them as the Swedish collective.
We went through the Miami-Dade County Clerk’s documents that are available online and found this document.
Fans may recall the the 90-minute performance by Swedish House Mafia as a landmark gig for the trio, which disbanded the group after five years together.
