Young cartoonist and Deadmau5 fan finally meets his hero!
Truly, there is quite a lot more to Deadmau5 aka Joel Zimmerman than just the man under the mouse head. Whether it is creating unmatched, breathtaking music or ranting about something he quite simply put, does not agree with, we all have come to love the mau5 for all his shenanigans.
Going back a couple of months, in October this year news about young 8 year old Darius emerged where he said that he was going to draw a Deadmau5 picture every day until he met the man under the mouse head himself.
Following this, the young fans passionate endeavour to meet the icon DJ/producer, got him notoriety from Zimmerman on leading social media website, twitter. Young Darius or ‘Dariu5‘ as he came to be affectionately called was however, yet to meet his idol and he continued to make a host of sketches, garnering a consistently increasing following as he went about his pursuit, awaiting the day he would get to meet his idol.
That momentous day after a considerable amount of drawing and tweeting pictures, finally arrived for young Darius much to his delight as he finally got to meet Deadmau5 in person.

Now, this kind of story is bound to put a smile on your face, because it shows how one simple act done zealously can change someones life forever. As they say, dreams do come true, just as it did for young Darius. We look forward to many more drawings from the young fan and would like to extend our best wishes to him!
