Autoerotique broke into 2009 and soon caught the attention of DJ/producer/label owner Steve Aoki. Shortly after signing with Dim Mak Records, Autoerotique made a stamp on the dance music world with the release of the first official single“Gladiator,” followed by remixes featuring the great DJ AM & Steve Aoki, Klever, and The Faint. Hit after hit, Autoerotique rose through the ranks and gained support from legends such as Tiësto, Benny Benassi, Laidback Luke, David Guetta, and many more. Along the way, Autoerotique has released remixes for said legends in addition to Skrillex, Diplo, Korn, Lykke Li, Shinichi Osawa, Chris Cornell & Timbaland, Fischerspooner, Weezer, and NERVO. Autoerotique’s debut EPFreak smashed the Beatport charts with the single “Turn Up The Volume.” With the release of the second EP EKG, Autoerotique continued to inspire DJs and music lovers alike with out-of-the-box sound design. Recent single“Asphyxiation”—which reached #1 on the Beatport Electronica Top Tracks—isAutoerotique’s masterpiece. The track and its masterful video counterpart, which has received over 2 million YouTube views to date, are meticulously executed in a way that should require a precautionary label. Everything they were and everything they are breathes in “Asphyxiation.” From the iconic rises of “Bubonic,” the rumbling bass of “Turn Up The Volume,” to the perfectly executed triplet mayhem ofEKG, the musically inclined mind of Autoerotique is always persisting to captivate fans and perpetuate an increasing global presence.
