The Crystal Method @ Repuliq

Electronic music trailblazers The Crystal Method have announced that their fifth studio album, “The Crystal Method“, will be released January 14, 2014. The self-titled disc marks the follow-up to the 2009 Grammy Award-nominated album Divided By Night.

The music bristles with the kind of artfully crafted soundscapes that solidified The Crystal Method, who now celebrate their 20th anniversary as one of the most successful electronic music outfits in history.  Fans can experience a listen now with the track “Emulator,” the video for which was recently revealed on Rollingstone.com.

Meanwhile, upholding a tradition of celebrated collaborations, the duo of Scott Kirkland and Ken Jordan also tapped a myriad of friends for this forthcoming offering. Dia Frampton adds a sense of soul to “Over It,” while country star LeAnn Rimes lends her instantly recognizable and infectious pipes to the gorgeous “Grace.” Other dynamics come from the likes of Scars On Broadway’s Franky Perez (“Difference“), Le Castle Vania (“Storm The Castle”) and Miami’s Afrobeta (“After Hours“).
