Sebastien Benett seems to be in the lime light with releases such as Triumph and Prometheus, with his grimy driving bass lines and cheeky synth melodies.
Now he’s out with his latest jewel, “Lucifer”. Starting off with a symplistic chunky synth melody, that gives way to an enticingly elongated build up and then a hard driving drop with saw sub bass line and clavi samples. The second drop, after an even more beautifully stretched build up and a phasered synth gives way to an incredibly off beat saw sub bass giving the second half an almost tribal feel.
Lucifer is now out on his own beatport on his own label BugEyed records. You can buy it here.
