Skream – Rollercoaster ft. Sam Frank [Official Video]

Skream Roller Coaster

The Webster dictionary defines Rollercoaster as ‘Marked by numerous ups and downs for entertainment’.  The latest by Skream also marks the beginning of one hell of a journey with twists and turns a.ka.- Rollercoaster. The official video for this track aired on 9th September 2013 for a global audience on Skream’s official channel on Youtube and boy we must say it is impressive. A doomsday filled theme eclipses the video where a comet the size of Mt.Everest is on its course to destroy earth.

The single is a collaboration with the amazing vocalist- Sam Frank who had previously joined hands with Skream for  ‘Under The City Lights’. The video begins with a man watching the skies for signs unknown to other mortals until the voiceover says that it is a ‘disco comet’ on its way to kill everything known to mankind and man himself. The argument that stands to reason during this apocalyptic time is to have a crazy dance party. The music that dominates that track is the very essence of Skream combined with the sexy vocals of Sam Frank. The melody transcends into the genre of dance and disco lights with groovy beats to match.  Also to note is the lone homeless man crazy as ever assaulting the boy in the video carrying a brown board which says ‘ End is Nigh’  closing in on the fact that no armageddon video is complete without a crazy homeless guy.

Now before you dismiss half way through the track all we can say is ‘wait till the end’, the finale is legendary.
