If the name Beatstatic doesn’t ring a bell, it should from now on. Electro House Duo, Beatstatic, consists of Suraj Nambiar & Rachit Jobalia, who go by the aliases Jarus & Kroschild. Having both worked for an Indian airline, Jet Airways, they realised that it’s time to ‘drop’ down to earth. And that decision was wise.
Beatstatic are one of the few Indian acts that are climbing Beatport charts. And the accolades don’t stop there; They’re also the first Indian act to reach the Top 100 Electro Chart on Beatport, with “Leaving The Lights” reaching #9, and “I Want That Beat” reaching #28. In addition, they’ve been featured on the “Top 10 Must Hear Electro Tracks” twice.
Beatstatic have opened for various international artists in India, like, Gareth Emery, Jerome Isma-Ae & Max Cooper. They are also set to release a Drum n Bass track in October, stay tuned for a preview.
