Daft Punk premier new single “Lose Yourself To Dance” at the MTV’s VMA’s!

The bots are back in the news once again! This time the legendary duo, Daft Punk made an appearance at the recent, MTV’s Video Music Awards and have ever since initiated quite a stir among peers from the industry and other followers & fans.

Prior to presenting of Best Female Video, Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams, and Nile Rodgers presented a short, one minute teaser video of “Lose Yourself To Dance”. The French electronic duo emerged from a giant version of the KAWS Moonman’s head decked out in sparkling gold and silver blazers. Pharrell and Rodgers did all the talking when presenting Swift with her Moonman, as Daft Punk stood silently by presumably watching all the action from behind their gleaming helmets.

Easily one of the stronger tracks on their latest album, ‘Random Access Memories‘, it had been known for some time that “Lose Yourself To Dance” would be the second official single off of the critically acclaimed album.The minute-long teaser is reminiscent of the original “Get Lucky” teaser of Coachella, with all four musicians doing what they do best. While it may appear to be a music video snippet, it’s more likely to be a simple single tease.
