Electro house tastemakers Dim Mak are staking their claim further into the electro sphere with their new release, “Reset”, a new collaboration between Tritonal and 7 Skies.

Despite the stadium-ready melody and the other gestures that pepper the track, the track is still gritty and heavy enough to fit in quite comfortably in the Dim Mak catalog. The Texas-based Tritonal and Italy’s 7 Skies both come from a similar place in terms of production and they  aren’t afraid to pull elements from other genres–dig that guttural, talk-box growl, for example. With poignant synth melodies and dub influenced breaks, the track fits well into even the biggest of sets.

Summer festival season may be winding down, but we feel pretty confident predicting that “Reset” will be making appearances during more than a few mainstage DJ sets in the coming weeks.
