One of bass music’s finest exponents, Rockwell and the immensely talented, Nicky Romero are the next to join the ever-changing rotation of DJ’s hosting BBC Radio 1‘s show, ‘In New DJ’s We Trust’.
Rockwell will replace producer/DJ Salva from July 25, while Nicky Romero will take over from Bromance label boss Brodinski on August 8, continuing the show’s legacy of championing fresh talent in each genre of dance music. This could be good news for Romero fans looking for a fix, as he only recently announced he was taking a break from making music.
Past DJs to take up residencies on the dance music hour include Jackmaster, Éclair Fifi, Simon Patterson and Monki, among many others since its beginning in 2005.
‘In New DJs We Trust’ is on BBC Radio 1 every Thursday from 9 to 10 PM, and can be streamed here.
