Afrojack is continuing to experiment and discover new sounds and synths by creating & previewing sample tracks, and posting them to SoundCloud.

We first saw this when he announced his “Far Far Away” alias with tracks that sounded very light and synth driven. In a new track previewed by van de Wall on SoundCloud, “Something_” he showcases a simple, but elegant, synthy structure with a heavy classic Afrojack-esque drop.

This comes right after Deadmau5 and Afrojack’s recent social media rendezvous which ended with Deadmau5 stating that the two producers should collaborate.

Although this track might never have an official release, it’s cool to see that Afrojack is willing to step outside the box, and create new and different music.
