The dark, fire-laden video for “Out of Sight“, the stupendous collaboration featuring The Bloody Beetroots, Paul McCartney and Martin ‘Youth‘ Glover has finally hit the web, giving us a stylish take on the fantastic track.
The song from the unexpected team debuted in mid-June, providing an explosive sound that’s now mirrored in the video’s slick production. McCartney is seen in a TV screen and via holographic images while Beetroots’ masked Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo rocks out on a variety of instruments and mixes electronic beats. The video feels a little psychedelic, a little religious and a little ominous all at the same time.
Just as the production hearkens back to the yesteryear’s of hard rock, the music video is as flamboyant as the distorted guitar riffs that drive the track’s soul. Like everything Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo touches, the mind behind the mask leaves his thrilling stamp on the cinematography here — a smokey kaleidoscope of rock opera imagery.
