The US dubstep superstar Skrillex has made a cheeky bootleg of the UK techno producer’s Blawan biggest tune to date and included it in his recent Essential Mix. Aired on BBC Radio 1 recently, Skrillex included a wide range of artists in the mix. You can listen to the mix here.

Skrillex has always been keen to show that he’s engaged with non-mainstream dance music and has used his Essential Mix to prove there’s more to him than monstrous wobbles and faceless dance music. Though purists will hate the remix for obvious reasons, you’ve got to applaud Skrillex for keeping his ears open to various sounds. No info on it’s release and it seems Blawan isn’t too happy with it:
