With the advent and exponential growth of Electronic and Dance Music in recent times, we must realise that for talent, one need not look only look to the Nordic parts of Europe. No longer do the Swedes or the Dutch have a monopoly over massive electro productions.
Manuel Galey – Machine (Original Mix)
Enter Manuel Galey, a producer/DJ from Spain with his newest electro destroyer, “Macine”. Now when we say destroyer, we mean total utter and complete destruction. The original mix has got that intense degree of raw energy that you’d fine in a barely a handful of tracks. It starts off with a rough saw sub bass and the chorus chopped up on loop. The breakdown goes to the vocals which are seemingly aggressive, and it’s just part that pumps you up like you were on enough steroids to put the tour de France to shame. The drop smashes you with a dutch house vibe, and he adds a wee bit of frantic glitch samples just to tease you.
Manuel Galey – Machine (FTampa Remix)
Brazillian born FTampa, completely revamps the original mix, keeping only the vocals together. Adding a big room electro/glitch sound, which sounds alot like Dutch prodigy Dyro’s work. Adding a very heavy but fun synth production, this one takes out the aggression from the original but still is just about as energetic.
Manuel Galey’s Machine is out on his very own Intaxx Records. Buy it on beatport here.
