The last time Egyptian duo Aly & Fila met Roger Shah, they brought us their one of the most enchanting productions, ‘Perfect Love’. Even after two years of its release, the magnificent track having the vocals of Adrina Thorpe still gets a spin by them in their live sets. And yes! We certainly would never forget that wonderful moment when Fadi opened his set with it at ASOT 600 Mumbai.
So, with a similar aim to hit the masses or may be even bigger, Aly & Fila have collaborated again with none other than Roger Shah for yet another classic production ‘Eye 2 Eye’. Proclaimed to be the anthem track for the 350th anniversary of their ‘Future Sound of Egypt’ radio show, it features the vocals of singer-songwriter Sylvia Tosun (from ‘An Angel’s Love’ fame).
A full high-bpm quality track, ‘Eye 2 Eye’ is just what the duo does best and definitely shows essential elements contributed by Shah. Beginning with strong thumping beats of their signature style, the track enters into a perfect breakdown where the beautiful vocals by Tosun come in. Without any doubt, after this the hard hitting track turns into a dedicated anthem that will surely put crowds’ hands up in the air.
