Looks like dance music is surely making its presence felt all across North America!

The legendary Pete Tong, who recently brought his show “Evolution with Pete Tong” on iHeart Radio and on local stations like Miami and Boston, will now be streaming it across 80 radio stations across the country.

This launch is being supported by Premiere Networks, who are going all out in expanding the “Evolution” brand that has the backing of Clear Channel Media and Entertainment.

Speaking on this giant leap, Pete said that “it’s been amazing to see how America has embraced Evolution on iHeart and on FM in Miami and Boston. By partnering with Premiere to develop Evolution with Pete Tong, we will be giving more terrestrial stations a great entry point for broadcasting EDM content on-air, and a platform to break and showcase more electronic music across America.”

Two interesting points have come across through all of this. The first one is that now dance music lovers can easily expect to hear the mainstream sounds of a Calvin Harris on their local radio. This was something that surely nobody expected 10 years back!

Secondly, with partnerships like these, can we expect more Indian radio stations to take up dance music in India on a regular basis?
