It’s no wonder that whenever Eric Prydz, a.k.a Pryda, makes an announcement of a new track, the whole world stops still. Pryda has set a standard of music, one that doesn’t follow the herd, yet instead creates it’s own style, one that isn’t easily copied in the industry.
Power Drive is a peculiar track indeed, as every Pryda track is. Now when we say peculiar, we don’t mean that in negative light at all, but instead, we believe it to be something that is not of the ordinary. The track starts off with an eerie tune, slowly building up to the subtle drop. The drop, as it is, is something you’d find comforting if you are into classic Pryda. It deploys a very old school retro feel to it, running a feeling that certain music just doesn’t die. This all fits into a nicely packed, 8 minute 53 second track; Something for you to cruise with.
Power Drive is out on Pryda Records, and you can buy it from Beatport by clicking here.
