Fresh out of high school, but already becoming a worldwide phenomenon make way for the young and talented Julian Jordan!

The 17-year old Dutch DJ/ Producer was featured on MTV Clubland’s “Artist to Watch in 2013″ and lately has been taking the dance music world by storm, which may not be surprising considering his mentor being the dance music maverick Sander van Doorn.

He was recognized by Spinnin’ Records as a budding new talent, and when they released his debut ‘Rock Steady’ which was immediately picked up by many A-list DJ’s. Following that was a collaboration with fellow Dutch duo TV Noise titled “Oxford”. After which came the anthemic “Kangaroo,” a collaboration with his mentor Sander van Doorn that took his career to the next level.

Julian with his mentor, Sander Van Doorn!

Julian is known for his prowess in producing Progressive House with which he incorporates some seriously heavy drops. He showcased this talent in his collaboration with another fellow Dutch producer, Martin Garrix, when the two made the huge single “BFAM” or “Brother From Another Mother.” The track has peaceful interludes, progressive buildups, and then a pulsing electro drop. My favorite part is that little melody they sneak in right after the buildup and right before the massive drop.

Recently heavyweights like Nicky Romero, Hardwell, Thomas Gold and Diplo have been dropping his tracks in the worlds biggest clubs and he has even had a track enter the Beatport top 10, his tracks are also regularly played on the hottest radio stations, like the “Pete Tong essential selection” on BBC Radio 1.

Julian has also performed at some of the hottest Dance festivals, such as Turn Up The Beach, Dancetour, Matrixx at the Park and at Privilege night club in Ibiza. With this much commotion already being stirred up, it’s safe to say there’s a big future laid out for Julian. It won’t be long before Julian Jordan is a household name. According to Sander van Doorn there will be lots more of Julian in 2013, with more tours, more collaborations and more solo productions.
