Mumbai-based outfit, Smalltalk have finally returned to action with their breezy new jam, ‘Tired‘. After bursting onto the scene earlier last year with the unveil of their debut EP, ‘Tacit‘, the four-piece band have consistently painted a lush, colorful musical canvas splashed with a melange of neo-soul, jazz, funk and pop sounds.
And on their latest effort, Smalltalk stir up a beautiful dose of alt-inspired pop which is led by the isolated vocals of Samarth Bahl before the onset of a summer-like setting takes place with its playful, yet solid instrumental brought to life by their fellow members Linford D’souza (Drums), Yohann Coutinho (Bass) and Siddharth Shankar (Lead guitar).
