While Martin Garrix might have taken the dance music scene by storm quite a few years ago, the Dutch prodigy continues to explore new boundaries with his musical output! And now teaming up with Macklemore and Fall Out Boy’s lead singer Patrick Stump, he has served up his newest single, ‘Summer Days‘. What certainly seems like a potential summer smash, the brand new release showcases a different side of Garrix’ diverse range of sounds, perfectly blending in with the vocals delivered by the two collaborators. Highlighted by a funky, pop-friendly production work with hints of tasty bass licks and catchy synths, Patrick takes care of the song’s addictive hook while Macklemore adds to the fun with his guest verses. Talking about his latest release, Martin Garrix said in a press statement:
”Summer Days is one of those tracks that makes you want to get in the car with your friends and blast it with the windows down. I’m honored to be working with Patrick and Macklemore on this track since I think they are both great artists. They are both very different in terms of style which gave the track new dimensions.
