Rajrishi Murthi October 5, 2017 News, Video Prepare yourselves because you’ll be hearing a lot from ‘Raja Kumari‘ in the near future! The Indian American singer/songwriter has made a name for herself in recent years with her signature sound. An eclectic fusion of hip-hop, R&B and her very own cultural influences, the LA-based act has been credited previously for her work on Iggy Azalea’s Grammy-nominated album ‘The New Classic‘ and Fall Out Boy’s platinum record ‘Centuries‘. Signed onto EPIC Records, she also shares the same space as hip-hop heavyweight Future, and released her 6-track The Come Up EP late last year. And now in a bid to reconnect with her roots, Raja Kumari has linked up with Indian rapper DIVINE for ‘City Slums‘. A powerful collaboration between the two, the Beat Busta-produced single sees them both flex their skills as the Mumbai-based act leads the charge before being joined by Raja for a solid outing. An anthemic tune which celebrates people and their come ups, watch the music video for ‘City Slums‘ below.
