Just yesterday, we brought you the news about the accidental reveal of The Chainsmokers‘ and Coldplay‘s upcoming collaboration ‘Something Just Like This‘, and now the ‘Closer‘ hitmakers have dropped a bombshell by releasing the single unexpectedly.
Featuring a very Coldplay-esque intro with Chris Martin on the vocals and striking piano chords, the single is the perfect amalgamation of both the artists’ sounds, bringing forward future bass during the drop, while retaining the melodic elements that Coldplay are known for. Without a doubt their biggest collaboration so far, The Chainsmokers have exceeded all expectations with ‘Something Just Like This‘. Move over ‘Closer’, as this could be the duo’s biggest hit yet.
