The rankings determine the signing fees of artists, signing on to management firms and agencies and much more, which in hindsight has become a vicious cycle.
In a recent research by DDMCA (Denis Doeland Management Consultancy and Advice), the statistics shows it’s only a matter of time till Martin Garrix is crowned the number 1 DJ in the world. The research is spread over four different areas of social interaction – Social Audience, Social Engagement, Social Applause and Social Conversation, and Garrix leads the charts in all but one category, Social Audience, where Tiesto takes the lead.
