The Heritage Orchestra, we know them as a bunch of young lads from UK who master in classical music, collaborating with the present-day artists. You can always expect them to come up with a surprise whenever they’re up to something. This time however, the surprise is huge, unlike ever before as The Heritage Orchestra teamed up with Pete Tong from BBC Radio 1, taking things a thousand steps further!
So recently having completed 20 years in Ibiza, BBC Radio 1 had to celebrate, and our well known Brit Pete Tong had a long chat with one of the founders of The Heritage Orchestra, Jules Buckley, the outcome of which was an action-packed prom show with a combination of classical and dance music this time. All the tracks that have been the most loved and played throughout these 20 years of BBC Radio 1′s reign over Ibiza were paid homage to by them and the big band who gave it a touch of their unique own style.
With the legendary UK band taking tunes from artists like Eric Prydz, Rudimental, Daft Punk, Moby, Faithless, Fatboy Slim and many more, you just can’t resist watching the entire prom. It’s attached right below so go ahead and experience the fun.
