Tove Lo‘s single ‘Habits (Stay High)‘ became a sleeper hit post its release in March in 2013. With compelling lyrics and Tove Lo‘s evocative vocals, the track reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S and found its way to many playlists all around the world.
And now Norwegian prodigy Kygo has covered the hit single in the Live Lounge for BBC Radio 1. The Live Lounge is a segment on BBC Radio 1, where well known artists perform a composition of their own, followed by a cover of another artist’s track, all in an acoustic format. Joined by vocalist Parson James, who also provided the vocals for the single ‘Stole The Show‘, Kygo displays his dexterity on the piano in full effect, with some soulful chords, accompanied by Parson James‘ soulful vocals.
