The newest face of mau5trap, or rather faceless producer, ATTLAS has captured the fancy of the Dance Music fraternity, with his timely releases in the last 12 months. Arriving seemingly out of nowhere, the unknown producer has shined with his magnificent productions and fantastic synth assemblies. He returns now to mau5trap to deliver his most versatile EP till date. The Siren EP features a couple of fantastic productions, which display the producer’s penchant for masterclass production with a dabble of ingenuity, the classes of dance music are yet not familiar to.
Siren EP features an exhaustive ‘Overture‘, which provides a summary of the tracks on the EP. With the opening track a warm effervescent future house production, it shows ATTLAS’s versatility in dealing with contemporary sounds. But we see real power on the second track. An absolutely blistering synth driven progression, the track lends an eerie progressive chant that defies any categorization and shines out as pure emotive electronica. The EP closes with another future house side-stepping production, giving the EP a defiant edge over anything you’ve heard so far this year. Also added recently was the production ‘Kayla‘.
