Austrian duo (one-half American) Nexity have been on our talent watch for a while. With a good mix of peppy house, big room and ambient sounds, Nexity surely provides a fresh feel in the ‘Big Room’ genre. Focusing on soft pianos and bass drops opposed to hard hitting kicks and bass in Big Room today, Nexity have definitely caught many an ear. With a loyal fan base on YouTube, many Nexity tracks have gotten positive reactions from ardent EDM fans world over; tracks such as ‘Vision‘, ‘Panther‘, ‘Jungle‘, etc. all have a different vibe to it.
Their recent release ‘Forte‘ instantly reveals its big room theme, straight up beginning with an echoed drum kick and bass, with a 2 chord synth, leading to some interesting FX. They effortlessly stick to their true style of imbibing melodious chords, mixed with deep kicks, and the generic big room build up to the drop we hear today.
Essentially ‘Forte‘ is what you would expect in a big room track. But don’t stop there. Give Nexity a good hear as some of their tracks might just surprise you!
