Toronto-based Dinamo Azari is not an unfamiliar name in the dance music community. Through his splendid works under celeb-level band/project Azari & III and his debut solo album Emerged, he has made an irreplaceable place for himself. While the album stood out as an intense piece of art as a whole, one of the tracks that still shines out has been ‘Victim’.
Following the dizzy and lightened house track’s great admiration by fans, Azari recently called Detroit’s gallant leader and techno/house heavyweight Carl Craig for his diverse rework on ‘Victim’, and the result is just as expected. A dancefloor monster with jagged riffs and classic C2 drum pattern, Craig has laid his signature sound all over the original. Wicked it gets with moving majestic cymbals and chopped vocals in the background that are sufficient to give you chill down the spine. Carl Craig’s dub remix of ‘Victim‘ will be released alongside other remixes on April 29th. Until then, checkout the preview below:
