Burning Man, known as the boiling pot for a taste of culture and art has several wooden art installations established across the village. In a live recording on usstream.com, we can watch a giant $266,000 worth of a sculpture raze to the ground voluntarily. The seventy two foot sculpture – Embrace created by The Pier Group was funded through a kickstarter campaign that raised $52,000 to create this wooden masterpiece. Previously contributing to Burning Man with The Pier, The Pier 2 and the Ichthyosaur Puppet Project, the Pier Group really left its mark this time with Embrace and the realistic hearts within the sculpture.
The various installations and their burning down only add to the overall experience of Burning Man, where participants promise to leave the spot as they found it. Stream the video and recall the festival or get a hint of what it’s all about!
