Zedd and DJ Snake represented dance music at the recently concluded MTV VMA (Video Music Awards). While Zedd won in the MTV Clubland 2014 category, winning the award for his single “Stay The Night” with Paramore vocalist Hayley Williams, DJ Snake won the award for Best Direction for his video for “Turn Down For What” featuring Lil Jon.
Zedd fended off competition from the likes of Calvin Harris‘ “Summer“, Martin Garrix‘s “Animals“, Disclosure’s “Grab Her” and DJ Snake‘s “Turn Down For What“.
