Maor Levi & Pierce Fulton – Wanna Be (Original & Club Mix) [Preview]

The growing trend in the electronic music industry is the combination of different genres. ‘Trouse’, a mix of trance and house, is gradually gaining popularity but is still not widely accepted by dance music listeners specially by the hardcore trance listeners. When Maor Levi, one of the best Anjunabeats trance producers combines forces with a rising electro star, Pierce Fulton, the culmination is a trouse master piece.

This is exactly what has happened on their track “Wanna be”. The track starts of as a progressive house tune and then drops into a electro big room track. Cr2 Records announced that the record label will release the original and club mix on the 12th of April 2013.

Ferry Corsten & Bassjackers – Collision (Original Mix) [Preview]

Here comes the first look of the brand new collaboration between Ferry Corsten and Bassjackers – ‘Collision’; as played by Ferry Corsten in Corsten’s Countdown 298. The track seems to be a blend of genres and different sounds, Ferry adds a trance vibe to it whereas Bassjackers inject the filthy electro sound, turning it into a monster. ”Collision” will be released on April 19 via Spinnin’ Records as a Beatport exclusive! Do watch out for its release.

Norin & Rad – Aldo (Original Mix)

Norin-Rad-Aldo

Norin and Rad released their newest track “Aldo” which is probably being heard all over the world as you read this because it was featured on the recently released Anjunabeats, Vol. 10, something I am sure they are proud of.

This track begins with a bouncy feel to it and slowly transitions into soothing melody. Bruce Karlsson and Nick Sember have been mesmerizing us with their ability to create melodic as well as high energy progressive sounds all packed in one track. Categorizing it as a progressive house and trance track would be apt (trouse, as some people like to call it). It is safe to say that after 18 months and multiple beautiful tracks Norin and Rad have proved that they are one of the best on the production team of Anjunabeats.

Audien – Wayfarer

After a successful debut on Anjunabeats with “Eventide”, Nate Rathbun aka Audien is back with his second full Anjunabeats release in the euphoric “Wayfarer”. A track that is certain to rack up DJ plays and accolades, “Wayfarer” already has the prestige of becoming the first ever track to be played on Above & Beyond‘s “Group Therapy” radio show when Jono, Tony and Paavo kicked off their set in Bangalore with it last November.

This track is a perfect mixture of multivariate sounds and some might arguably cast it under the emerging new genre called “Trouse”, although its listed as “Trance” on Beatport. A few hardcore trance music enthusiast don’t like this modulation of the beautiful genre, but one must not forget everyone is here to enjoy music whether it be house, electro, dubstep, trance or a mixture of them. Talking more about “Wayfarer”, it’s definitely as cool and charming as the sunglasses that inspired its name. Starting off with a powerful intro that might leave you hanging how Anjunabeats a trance dominated label released this under them. But as soon as the track hits breakdown, the beautiful uplifting chords sets in creating a euphoric atmosphere which builds up into the loving trance heavy lead and clear all your doubts of why this track has been constantly talked about since it was previewed by Above & Beyond and why it has become one of the most hyped trance releases in recent memory. Even being a 128-BPM track, it’s as powerful as any conventional 140-bpm trance tune.

“Wayfarer” is definitely one of the best works by Nate, who’s last release “Sup” also gained appreciation & was supported by fellow DJs worldwide. Audien yet again proves his ability with “Wayfarer” to deliver superbly in various form of electronic music. With his beautiful, complex melodies, and finessed production skill, Nate has quite a lot to accomplish in the coming years and we look forward to his productions.
