Know Your Artist: Kyau & Albert

Ralph Kyau and Steven Moebius Albert are known to the EDM world as Kyau & Albert. Ralph Kyau began experimenting with the production of electronic music, performing his tracks live at several underground techno parties. He released his first record ‘Modulation Experiments’ at the end of 1993. Ralph then met Steven Moebius Albert who had also been experimenting in producing electronic music. Upon discovering they both had similar creative ideas, Ralph and Steven commenced producing music together. This included live performances. Ralph and Steven became formally known as ‘Kyau vs. Albert’ and released their first single ‘Let me in’.

In March 1997 Ralph and Steven established the record label Euphonic. Rough Mullar aka Sonorous and Ronski Speed were signed to the record label shortly after its establishment, which proved to be a solid foundation for their expression of new and creative musical ideas. Although Ralph and Steven continued to produce tracks individually under various pseudonyms, they became an increasingly popular live act when performing as Kyau vs. Albert. ‘We Come In Peace’ was their first compilation released on Euphonic in 1998. Since then, Euphonic has signed the likes of Ronski Speed, Stoneface & Terminal, Cressida, Dennis Sheperd and many more.
Kyau & Albert – All Your Colours (Andrew Rayel Remix) [Preview]

Kyau & Albert, one of the most established names in Trance, are out with a new album – Nights Awake, and All Your Colours are one of the tracks featured in the album. Released on Euphonic way back in mid-January, they’re now releasing the All Your Colours Remixes EP on April 1st.
One of the Remixes are done by Armada Music‘s star child, Andrew Rayel. One of the fastest rising Trance producers, most well known for his style with infusing today’s new age sounds with old school trance.
The remix, much more upbeat than the original, features a heavier beat and a harder bassline, with a very melodic layering of piano tones and synth riff. Without hindering the vocals and the uplifting effects of the original, Andrew Rayel has added his unique touch to convert the originals progressive flow to a much more peppier and groovier production.
All Your Colours The Remixes EP will be released on Euphonic Records, April 1st.
