Burns – Limitless EP (Incl. Remixes)
The British DJ/Producer Matthew Burns better known by the stage name Burns releases a brand new original production “Limitless” following up his last year’s anthem “Lies”. The track features some beautiful vocals by Clare Maguire, which takes the track to a completely different level. Matthew, who is a good friend of popular fellow DJ & producer Calvin Harris, his music seems to be highly inspired with Calvin’s musical style.
Burns seems to be all set to become the next big UK dance star, unleashing this sing-along anthem “Limitless” via Deconstruction Records, filled with a catchy melody and some striking synth work. This track will definitely climb up the dance music charts around the world. The official video of the track is also out now. The EP features some amazing remixes from Arno Cost, Jacob Plant, Henrix, Gunther Beats alongside the Club Version of the original track.

Jacob Plant, a rising producer from London who’s music varies from UK bass, dubstep, trap to electro brings us a brand new bass pounding single – “Shakedown”. Calvin Harris very own label, Fly Eye Records ended 2012 with a huge release by Thomas Gold – ‘Miao‘ and now they continue their streak in 2013 with this bass packed electro influenced progressive house banger by Jacob Plant. This catchy, melodic track packed with energetic build ups & a filthy bassline is a perfect way to start 2013 for both Fly Eye Records and Jacob Plant.
Story behind the release, as told by Jacob Plant in an interview -
It was quite a simple process really. My first link with Calvin was when I did a remix for his and Example’s song ‘We’ll Be Coming Back”. I met him when I was in LA a few months later and we got talking, he and his manager suggested I should do a song for his label. I made a few tracks the week I got back and ‘Shakedown’ was one of them. It seemed right for his label so I sent it his way and he loved it, which a massive honour!
