Brand new Bootleg by Cazzette, which they played at Ultra for the first time this year, is now available as a free download. This time they have remixed the song “Harlem Shake” a world phenomeno by Baauer. The Harlem Shake video fever might be over, but it seems that Cazzette are here to keep the vibe of the Harlem Shake still on. The swedish duo have turned this trap anthem into a dubstep monster, by layering heavy synths and adding pumping bass to the original sample. You just can’t miss this one out.

The boys of Cazzette are on a remix high. Just a few days ago they previewed the remix of Tim Berg’s “Alcoholic”. Today, they preview their remix of Baauer’s ”Harlem Shake”. Some might think “Harlem Shake” has extended it’s stay. But this festival mainstage duo have reworked the track and transformed this trap hit into a ‘dubhouse’ knockout which they played during Ultra Music Festival this year. Major Lazer – Lazer Strikes Back Volume 2 [Free Download]
Diplo’s side project Major Lazer‘s upcoming LP “Free The Universe” has been pushed to release on the 15th of April 2013, so to make up for it as well as a lead up to it they are giving out Volume 2 of the Lazer Strikes Back series for free.
This 4 track EP series has the Flosstradamus remix of “Original Don”, The Reef remix of “Jah No Partial” and the Blood Diamond remix of “Get Free” as well as “Talk About Me” a collaboration with Mad Decent members Baauer and Popcaan. The last track has Harlem Shakes beats resonating at the back with reggae vocals and stands out from the rest. Personally, my favourite one is the “Get Free” remix by Blood Diamond, low tempo and great vibes.

Ultra Harlem Shake Featuring Carl Cox (Video)
Baauer must be smiling away watching the legendary Carl Cox do the Harlem Shake along with the Ultra Music family. The crazy erratic dancing or rather do-whatever-you-want moves is what makes the Harlem Shake way better than Gangnam Style for me. Anyone and everyone wants a go at the Harlem Shake, trying to out do each other with a bigger and better version of it. There are definitely some funny versions out there but this video takes the cake with Carl Cox waving a towel and the crazy ballerina and donkey! I’m sure if Baauer made a list of his favourite Harlem Shake videos, this would be on it.
