Donna Summer – Bad Girls (Boys Noize Remix)

With Boys Noize’s scratching talents highlighted in this, this German powerhouse producer has blended in massive sounds in a completely alternative production style. Nothing short of impressive, check it out below.
Donna Summer – MacArthur Park (Laidback Luke Remix)

One of disco’s famous divas from the yesteryear, it’s a great feeling to see previous generations of music incorporated into modern-day dance music, something which Verve Records are exactly doing by releasing an extensive remix collection called Love To Love You Donna on October 22nd, featuring brand new remixes of some of Queen Donna’s most iconic hits by modern electronic maestros like Afrojack, Holy Ghost, Hot Chip to name a few. Coming to MacArthur Park, Laidback Luke, one of Holland’s finest, has managed to do a very neat job. Incorporating vocals oozing with emotion into the track, he’s laid down a progressive vibe, that isn’t too uplifting (after all, the song is about a breakup). Nothing will compare to the original, but this remix is a fine attempt to introduce a modern dance twist to music from the 70′s. Grab it here, and check it below!
