Jacob Van Hage – Crank (Original Mix)

7124655

Today’s the day Jacob Van Hage’s mega-thumper Crank has been released for the masses on Flashover Recordings.  After hits such as Spotfire, Voodoo (ft Saint Liz), Convoi, EMP (ft Dyro) and most recently Thumper (ft Oliver Heldens), Jacob Van Hage has become quite the household name when it comes to EDM.

With an intro and pick up strictly adhered to big room progressive, it features a series of drops. The first of which is just about getting you prepped up for what to expect later and deeper into the track. Jacob Van Hage makes sure the listeners are hooked with the constant repetition of the synth hook bridge. The second drop just about picks up a little harder than the first, sort of like a second level to utter insanity, if you will. By the time the third drop comes about, you’re already hypnotised by the ultra catchy hook.  And then when we’re there, it just simply demolishes. So if you’re listening to this at a club or at an arena, this bit is bound to get you to rage harder than you’ve ever raged before.

Already given massive support by the likes of Ferry Corsten, Afrojack, Nicky Romero,  Bart Claessen, Judge Jules, Leon Bolier and Marcus Schossow.

Jacob Van Hage – Crank (Original Mix) [Preview]

Aah! The Dutch excel at producing Electronica, and how!

Speaking of Dutch Producer’s, we have Jacob van Hage’s new single, Crank. First previewed on fellow dutch heavyweight, Ferry Corsten’s weekly radio show “Corsten’s Countdown”, this Stomp House track (a genre oh-so-cleverly coined by Mr. van Hage himself)  has already caused quite a buzz amongst fans and DJ’s alike.

Garnering support from top acts like Ferry Corsten, Afrojack, Nicky Romero,  Bart Claessen, Judge Jules, Leon Bolier and Marcus Schossow

Throughout the preview, my face was permanently frozen on my “God Damn” expression. Unlike any House production I’ve ever heard, this one has got enough energy to give even Red Bull a run for its money.  A very clever piano-synth hook, it sounds like the next Progressive House song on your I-Pod. Till the drop comes about. And then……

Well, we’ll leave that for you to decide.

Available on Beatport April 8, 2013 on Flashover Recordings.
