The dutch duo Showtek unveiled the latest addition to their discography : a remix for none other than pop princess Carly Rae Jepsen. But it wasn’t worldwide smash hit Call Me Maybe that got the work over, rather, Jepsen’s later single Tonight I’m Getting Over You. The remix is a hard take on the original pop vocals filled with some smart beat work and a stomping electro drop making it radio as well as floor-friendly.  Showtek explaining on their shift to mainstream music -

We always try to be diverse, and not do everything on one tip. I think as a harder dance act, Showtek finally reached the point where we can play with bigger DJs outside that scene. When we were doing hardstyle we also produced house music and these days we are doing more EDM but we are also working on Pop songs now. Narrow-minded doesn’t exist in our dictionary. We just love to produce music. So yeah, we expanded our sound but it’s also part of evolution.
