Montreal Natives, Leighton & Christian, otherwise better known as Adventure Club, have completely abandoned their signature dubstep sound for a foray into Electro/Big Room sounds with Thunderclap.  Possibly aimed and catered for a more festival friendly set, Thunderclap has all the ingredients for a festival favourite.

Starting off with a staccato synth breakdown layered all the way into the build up, leading us into an damagin electro-infused drop, which further takes us to a second, heavier stomp drop.  Very much unlike what we’re used to hearing from the Canadian duo, but still extremely interesting nonetheless.  If this is the kind of stuff they’ve experimented with on their new “Calling All Heroes” EP, we can’t wait to see what else they’ve got in store.
