Designer Drugs & Alvin Risk – Empty Hearted (Original Mix)

EH

Alvin Risk dropped ‘Skyclad’ just a month ago and has already released his track ‘Empty Hearted’ which he got Designer Drugs to collaborate with him on. This rather surprising dubstep track is complimented by vintage video game synths and Alvin’s unmistakable robotic vocals. Full of promises, this electro-dubstep track is sure to create some wobbling waves this year. OWSLA’s very own Alvin has been making promising music, this track is a heave dose of awesomeness.

Designer Drugs & Alvin Risk – Empty Hearted (Original Mix) [Preview]

EH

Alvin Risk is OWSLA’s pride and joy who released his track “Skyclad” a few weeks ago. He wastes no time in bringing us another track, this time previewing a collaboration with New York based duo Designer Drugs.

“Empty Hearted” features the duo’s electro synthesized sounds and Alvin’s vocals, finely auto-tuned vocals however and manic dub wobbles. From the preview we can safely say that this track will proceed to build into another dubstep track that is worthy of a great response. This track is scheduled to release on the 16th of April 2013 on Ultra Records.

Alvin Risk – Skyclad (Original Mix)

Since his debut in 2011 Alvin Risk has been getting bigger and better, even though it has taken us some time to see this growth. “Skyclad” his latest release has been a long wait since his 4 track album “Infinity” released last year, but it is a great reminder of the dark side of his music. He is after all one of Skrillex’s protégés.  Risk’s unique ability to bring together soft sounds and big bass drops in his original tracks is commendable.

I remember seeing him last April as the opening act on Example‘s UK Arena Tour in Manchester and being introduced to a brilliant raw side of dubstep. His remixes were what stood out then. Today, Skyclad is what’s standing out now with his vocals used in the intro, the biggest drop ever and it’s heavy bass. This brutal OWSLA release has managed to please it’s listeners.
