An aquarium often serves as an eye-catching element in any room’s design, but setting up and maintaining one can be costly and challenging. Fortunately, Lego is introducing the new Lego Icons Tropical Aquarium set later this year, which provides an aquatic flair to your space without the hassle of water and at a more affordable rate. However, it still comes with a price tag—preorders for this 4,154-piece set are available at $480. If you are a member of Lego’s free Insider program, you’ll additionally receive the Lego Fish Tank Filter and Fish Food set at no cost—a $20 value—as a preorder bonus. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to receive the Aquarium set three days ahead of the official release, on November 13. The set will be available globally to all customers from November 16.
This release marks not the first instance of Lego offering a fish tank set, but this new construction significantly exceeds the size of the previous Lego Creator Fish Tank kit by thousands of bricks. Since the earlier model has been discontinued, this upcoming set remains your sole choice for a Lego-themed aquarium.
For those less interested in fish, Lego is also preparing for the festive season with its Lego Advent calendars. Continuing the tradition, these calendars contain 24 small builds, one for each day in December, featuring themes from popular franchises like Star Wars, Minecraft, Lego City, and Lego Friends.
Moreover, several new Lego Batman sets are set to launch on March 1, 2026, and are currently available for preorder. These sets predominantly celebrate the various iconic Batmobiles from films such as Batman & Robin, Batman v Superman, and The Batman. Additionally, there’s a striking 14-inch Batman Logo set that showcases famous props and weapons from the DC Universe.

In other news, Lego plans to discontinue one of the most beloved Minecraft sets, the 1,195-piece Minecraft Crafting Table diorama. It’s still available for purchase at the moment, priced at $72, down from $90. You can also combine it with the recently discounted 665-piece buildable Creeper figure, now priced at $32, reduced from $40.
